Provena, Resurrection Facilities Rebranded as Presence Health

Mokena, Ill.-based Provena Health and Chicago-based Resurrection Health Care have begun to rebrand their facilities, changing the names and logos of their various hospitals to reflect the new name of the recently merged systems — Presence Health.

Yesterday, leaders of the health system, which was formed in November 2011 following the merger of Provena and Resurrection, unveiled the new logo and facility names.

Over the next few months, each of the facilities in the system will be renamed to reflect their affiliation with Presence Health. For example, Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Ill., will become Presence Mercy Medical Center, and Provena Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin, Ill., will become Presence Saint Joseph Hospital, according to a Beacon-News report.

Similarly, Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, Ill., and Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, Ill., will becomes Presence Covenant Medical Center and Presence United Samaritans Medical Center, according to a News-Gazette report.
