Representatives of the hospital said they were unsure when Mr. Fitzpatrick would return, according to the report. Gooding Police Staff Sgt. Sjuni Bunderson said Idaho State Police are investigating a matter related to Mr. Fitzpatrick’s leave.
Mr. Fitzpatrick has served as CEO since 2005, during which time the hospital has shifted to nonprofit ownership.
