Paula Carynski, BSN, MSN. President of OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center (Rockford, Ill.). Ms. Carynski was named president of OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in July 2013, but she’s been with the organization since 1985. Before her appointment as president, Ms. Carynski served as vice president of patient care services and CNO for 14 years. Her past roles at the medical center include director of nursing operations and director of the Regional Heart Institute, the Neuroscience Institute and cardiovascular services. Ms. Carynski is a graduate of Saint Anthony College of Nursing and Rockford (Ill.) College, and she received a master’s of science degree in nursing administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
