For the second time, officials at State University of New York have voted to shutter Long Island College Hospital, a Brooklyn-based facility that is part of the financially troubled SUNY Downstate Medical Center, according to a New York Times report.

Stewart-Webster Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital based in Richland, Ga., has shut down its emergency room, and the entire hospital will close this Friday, according to a WRBL report.
