Dr. Tahir, a board-certified internist, will oversee the system’s quality performance and patient safety plans, promote service excellence philosophies and behaviors throughout the system and provide medical leadership in promoting best practices in clinical care, quality and safety, according to the release.
Dr. Tahir will also be charged with tracking the effectiveness of clinical care through continuous quality improvement, benchmarking and qualitative data measurement of physician performance, resource utilization and patient care outcomes.
