In the “phone spoofing” fraud, scammers utilize hospital phone numbers to request personal information. Multiple local residents reported these incidents to local authorities, who warned them not to give any information over the phone. They added that anyone who receives a call from someone claiming to be a Massena official should hang up and call the hospital.
