The two-story building, part of Sentara CarePlex, will be the only hospital dedicated to orthopedics in the region and will provide services from pre-operative care and surgery to rehabilitation and home care services.

Orthopedic nurses, surgeons and patients gave feedback about the hospital’s design. The finished product features a first floor dedicated to inpatient and outpatient surgery and a second floor made up of 18 inpatient rooms.
