The completed expansion phase included a 144-bed patient wing, lobby, waiting room, a chapel and a gift shop. The new wing will open Dec. 21, according to the report.
The new expansion project, announced by Simi Valley’s parent company Adventist Health, will include adding 10 rooms to the hospital’s emergency department, a state-of-the-art operating room and a catherization lab, according to the report.
