NAPH Changes Name to America’s Essential Hospitals

The National Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems announced that it has changed its name to America’s Essential Hospitals.

The association champions hospitals that provide the nation’s underserved populations with quality care. The association has provided advocacy, research, education and leadership development to its members since 1981.

America’s Essential Hospitals also announced that the National Public Health and Hospital Institute, its research entity, has been renamed the Essential Hospitals Institute.
