Mohammed Shafeeq Ahmed, MD. Vice President of Medical Affairs and CMO of Howard County General Hospital (Columbia, Md.) As CMO of Howard County General Hospital, Dr. Ahmed provides administrative oversight and service support for 1,900 full-time and part-time employees, including 950 physicians. He is also responsible for integrating Howard County General Hospital’s service and quality care standards with those of its parent organization, Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine. Before joining HCGH, Dr. Ahmed served as COO and CMO of Springfield, Mass.-based Baystate Health’s Eastern Region.
