Mission Health Announces Additional Keynote Speaker for Inaugural H2T Healthcare Quality Conference

Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health has announced Marc Katz, MD, CMO of Richmond, Va.-based Bon Secours Heart & Vascular Institute, will be a keynote speaker at the inaugural H2T Healthcare Quality Conference.

Along with his role as CMO, Dr. Katz continues to practice adult cardiac surgery specializing in minimally invasive and robotic approaches, plus surgery for congestive heart failure and placement of ventricular assist devices.

“Dr. Katz is a pioneer in the field of robotic heart surgery and the perfect example of a frontline clinician who is revolutionizing the way technology can enhance healthcare and improve patient experience,” said Ronald A. Paulus, MD, president and CEO of Mission Health, in the news release.

Best-selling author Lee Woodruff and healthcare technology and patient experience expert Bridget Duffy, MD will be joining Dr. Katz as lead speakers.

The conference will be held in Asheville, N.C. at the Omni Grove Park Inn from June 9 to June 10.
