Here are three things to know.
1. As part of ACHE’s legislative body, Mr. Mayo will represent the organization’s membership in the Northern and Western Chapter of Florida, according to a news release.
2. He currently heads Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, the 691-bed flagship hospital of Baptist Health.
3. Mr. Mayo earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Texas Woman’s University in Denton and a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
