Miami’s Jackson Health Gains $1.7M in April, Annual Losses Still Expected

Miami’s Jackson Health System experienced a surplus of $1.7 million in April; however, the gains were due to a one-time $9 million special Medicaid payment, according to a report by the Miami Herald.

Jackson remains down $74.8 million for the fiscal year, and this loss may increase to nearly $100 million, according to the report.
