Meet the CFOs of US News’ top 10 children’s hospitals

The CFOs leading US News & World Report’s Best Children’s Hospitals 2025-26 Honor Roll are an experienced group, with each having served in their role since at least 2023 — including two with tenures spanning more than a decade and two others set to reach that milestone next year.

Below are the CFOs of each hospital recognized in the 2025-26 ranking:

  • Boston Children’s Hospital: Doug Vanderslice has served as CFO since 2013. 
  • Children’s Hospital Colorado (Aurora): Jeff Harrington has served as CFO since 2013. 
  • Children’s Hospital Los Angeles: Scott Lieberenz has served as CFO since 2016.
  • Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia: Sophia Holder has served as CFO since 2021.   
  • Children’s National Hospital (Washington, D.C.):  Aldwin Lindsay has served as CFO since 2020. 
  • Cincinnati Children’s: Paul Jenny has served as CFO since 2021. 
  • Nationwide Children’s Hospital (Columbus, Ohio): Nelson Weichold has served as CFO since 2023.
  • Rady Children’s Hospital (San Diego): James Uli has served as CFO since 2020. 
  • Seattle Children’s Hospital: Suzanne Beitel has served as CFO since 2017. 
  • Texas Children’s Hospital (Houston): Weldon Gage has served as CFO since 2016.
