Partners HealthCare, which includes notable hospitals such as Brigham and Women’s and Massachusetts General Hospital, attribute the growth to cost-saving measures and preparation for lump sum payments for healthcare services. In addition to increased income, the health system reported operating revenue of $6.4 billion for the first nine months of FY 2011, up from $6 million in the same period last year.
