The layoffs, which represent about 3 percent of Fallon’s staff, affect administrative employees, Peter Racicot, Fallon’s vice president of business development, told the publication.
He attributed the move to restructuring to adapt to healthcare marketplace changes. He said a decision by the city of Weymouth, Mass., not to renew its contract with Fallon played no role, according to the report.
That contract is set to expire at the end of June.
