The affiliation is designed to help the two independent hospitals integrate care, lower costs and provide stability to the organizations.
The partnership is expected to allow both hospitals’ administrations to share more physicians, negotiate more favorable reimbursement rates and possibly reduce IT, billing and marketing services.
