Dr. Delbanco led the design and implementation of the annual hospital survey, which evaluates hospital safety, quality, and efficiency based on national performance metrics.

Prior to founding The Leapfrog Group, Dr. Delbanco worked for the Kaiser Family Foundation, another prominent healthcare analysis organization.

“Every day, we at Leapfrog still benefit from the wisdom of her early leadership. Her vision from over 20 years ago remains prescient for modern times,” the Leapfrog release states. “We will never forget her.”

At Becker's 4th Annual CEO + CFO Roundtable, taking place November 2–5 in Chicago, more than 1,500 hospital and health system executives tackle decisions that determine whether organizations thrive or merely survive: protecting margins under cost pressure, choosing where to grow, renegotiating payer relationships, stabilizing the workforce and proving real ROI on technology.
