Layoffs Pending at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Massachusetts

Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Mass., has announced the pending layoffs of an undisclosed number of employees, according to a WWLP report.

The hospital would not disclose when the layoffs will be finalized or what areas of the hospital will be affected. Hospital officials said a decline in inpatient services and increased demand for outpatient services resulted in the decision to reduce the workforce.
