The specific number of employees to be laid off was not released.

The hospital was subject to a federal raid in January, which led to the arrest of assistant hospital administrator Mohammad Khan. Last week, Mr. Kahn pled guilty to conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud, conspiracy to pay healthcare kickbacks and five other counts for paying or offering kickbacks.

The federal investigation into the hospital is ongoing and some worry it could lead to the hospital’s closure, according to the report.
