According to the report, the hospital laid off no more than 50 employees, most of whom held positions in management or support staff. The layoffs were attributed to a decrease in patient revenue streams, according to the report.
Knapp’s interim administrator and CFO Dinah Gonzalez said the workforce reduction was not linked to the recent transaction between Knapp and Prime, which went into effect Jan. 1, according to the report.
