John Popovich Jr., MD. Executive Vice President and CMO of Henry Ford Health System and President and CEO of Henry Ford Hospital (Detroit). Dr. Popovich joined Henry Ford Hospital as a senior staff physician in 1980 and after spending a 30-year career with the health system was promoted to his current role as executive vice president and CMO of Henry Ford Health and president and CEO of the 805-bed Henry Ford Hospital. Previously, he spent 10 years as the division head of pulmonary and critical care medicine and was named the senior vice president for clinical affairs in 2008. He has experience developing the Henry Ford Physician Network, where he serves as CEO and chairman of the board, and is a past chair of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
