Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare's board of trustees elected its first-ever female chairwoman, local entrepreneur Gail Miller.
Ms. Miller joined Intermountain's board in 2013 and served on its Executive Committee and Community Relations Committee. She is the owner of Larry H. Miller Companies and is chair of its board of directors. She is trustee emeritus of Salt Lake Community College and serves on the National Advisory Council for the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

Ms. Miller replaces outgoing chair Scott Anderson, who served as chairman for the past six years.
