The hospital’s 19-bed inpatient behavioral health unit and 38-bed transitional care center will close in February. The health system opened a new $450 million hospital in June and the majority of the system’s services were moved to the new facility.

The health system then plans to identify a joint venture partner to convert the older facility to a senior care center with long-term, assisted and independent living services, according to the report.
