According to the lawsuit, the hospital terminated Mr. Bachman without providing 30 days advance written notice as was required by his contract. Further, the suit seeks $42,713 in lost compensation following his early termination.
The hospital is arguing that Mr. Bachman served in an independent contractor role, not as an employee of the hospital.
