Executive at Missouri System to Head Wellmont Health System in Tennessee

Denny DeNarvaez, an executive at Sisters of Mercy Health System in Chesterfield, Mo., will become president and CEO of five-hospital Wellmont Health System, based in Kingsport, Tenn., according to a report by the St. Louis Business Journal.

A successor for her job as regional vice president for Eastern Missouri at Sisters of Mercy has not been named.

At Wellmont, Ms. DeNarvaez succeeds interim CEO Bob Burgin, who took over for Mike Snow, who left in January to be CEO of Amedisys, a home health provider in Baton Rouge, La.
