Employers want competitive health care programs, study shows

In a recent blog post, Towers Watson revealed data from its 2015 Emerging Trends in Health Care survey on employers and their expectations of health benefit programs.

According to the survey, 84% are expecting to changes to their full-time employee health benefit program in the next three years.

The survey also noted that:

– Employers are evaluating implications of changing provider landscape

– Embracing new ways to deliver care

– Focusing on increasing employee engagement and exploring new options for delivering benefits.

Towers Watson survyed 444 U.S. employers representing 7.2 million employees in January 2015 for this survey.
