Sarasota Memorial Health in Florida Posts 7.7% Increase in Operating Revenue

Sarasota (Fla.) Memorial Health Care System reported $396.3 million in total operating revenue for the nine months ending June 30, representing a 7.7 percent increase from the same period in 2010, according to a Tampa Bay Business Journal report.

Similarly, the operating margin for the nine months ending June 30 was 6.5 percent, compared to 5.8 percent over the same period last year. The growth in operating revenue can be attributed to increased outpatient volumes, though inpatient volumes were lower this year.
