The council will garner patient and community member insights that CHI St. Francis will use to improve operations.
CHI St. Francis previously had a patient and advisory council, however it was inactive as the hospital underwent various transitions.
Alice Pesonen-Johnson, vice president of patient care services, told Daily News, “While patient satisfaction and quality have always been a focus, we believe the patient and family advisory council helps us better understand what’s important to patients and their families and contribute to improved care … it’s critical to our success.”
