In the suit, CNE, which oversees three hospitals, said Health Insurance Commissioner Christopher Koller overstepped his bounds with a July ruling stating that health insurer’s new contracts with hospitals should change the hospital finance system and include limits on price increases.
CNE is seeking a temporary restraining order to prevent Commissioner Koller from continued interference with the organization’s contracts and contract negotiations, according to the report.
Mr. Koller said his decisions are consistent with the law, according to a statement cited in the report.
