On April 30th, Capella, in collaboration with the American Nurses Association Leadership Institute, provided a livestream Google Hangout with a panel of social media experts. “#iAMaNURSE in a Social Media World” focused in on helping nurses use social media tools to their advantage. On May 6th, Capella and the Atlanta Black Nurses Association sponsored an exclusive screening of the film “The American Nurse” in an Atlanta theater. The event was free to the first 800 nurses who reserved tickets and attendees were able to receive 1.5 CE credits for a discounted rate.
