Akron Children’s Puts COO Into New Post Aligning Regional Operations

Mark Watson, formerly COO of Akron Children’s Hospital, is assuming a newly created position to align clinics and other operations in the region, according to a report by the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

In his new role as president of Akron Children’s regional network, Mr. Watson will focus on aligning pediatric specialty clinics, programs and partnerships at more than 80 locations in Ohio.

His COO position will be assumed by Grace Wakulchik, who has been vice president for patient services and chief nursing officer since 2003.
