Tanya Andreadis. Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing, Communications and Digital Officer at the University of Miami. Ms. Andreadis leads enterprisewide strategy across marketing, brand, communications and consumer experience spanning athletics, the academic enterprise and the UHealth system. Since joining in July 2025, she established a unified enterprise strategy and structure, launched reputation campaigns across the university and health system, reimagined VIP engagement for athletics and beyond, and partnered with IT and access teams to enhance the patient journey. Previously, Ms. Andreadis served as chief marketing officer and vice president of patient engagement at Philadelphia-based Penn Medicine, overseeing marketing, communications, digital, physician outreach, call center operations and analytics. During her time as chief marketing officer at Los Angeles-based UCLA Health, she launched global brand campaigns, influencer strategies and marketing attribution models, positioning academic health systems as leaders in innovation, digital transformation and data-driven growth.
Shannon Arledge. Chief of Public Affairs and Medical Media at Birmingham (Ala.) VA Health Care System. Mr. Arledge is a communications and public affairs officer with over 10 years of leadership experience at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Since 2022, he has enhanced the Birmingham VA Health Care System’s brand and visibility through strategic media relations, congressional engagement and integrated communications. His leadership has strengthened stakeholder partnerships, expanded veteran outreach, and advanced communication practices in line with high-reliability organization principles. Mr. Arledge previously served as a public affairs officer at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, La. Before joining VA, he spent eight years with the Federal Emergency Management Agency supporting national preparedness as a public affairs officer. He is a retired U.S. Marine Corps public affairs chief with 20 years of service, including deployments for Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
Loreen Babcock. Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Montefiore Einstein (Bronx, N.Y.). As chief marketing officer at Montefiore Einstein, Ms. Babcock leads integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies that blend behavioral science, advanced analytics and authentic storytelling to strengthen brand trust and community engagement. Her campaigns, including “Everyone Loves a Comeback” and “I Want to Live”, have powerfully highlighted patient journeys and the life-saving impact of Montefiore’s clinical innovations, particularly in transplant care. Ms. Babcock has established a strong “test and learn” culture within the marketing team, using real-time feedback and data to continuously optimize outreach and performance. She has also driven internal alignment by fostering a collaborative, mission-driven workforce that reflects Montefiore’s values of innovation, compassion and inclusivity. A veteran brand strategist with experience at global companies like Pfizer, Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson, Ms. Babcock also founded and led two successful agencies, one of which was acquired by global media company Omnicom.
Lisa Badeau. Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at UVA Health (Charlottesville, Va.). Ms. Badeau serves as chief marketing and communications officer at UVA Health, where she leads more than 60 marketing and communications professionals overseeing internal and executive communications, brand management, digital patient experience, patient acquisition marketing, physician outreach, public relations and media relations, crisis communications, customer relationship management and marketing automation, social media, content marketing, and analytics and data science. Since joining in February 2021, she has launched the health system’s first marketing technology platforms, enabling marketing automation for consistent engagement with patients and referring physicians, as well as the health system’s first closed-loop marketing return on investment technology platform. Ms. Badeau has grown UVA Health’s share of voice to No. 1 in the state and led the relaunch of both UVA Health and UVA Health Children’s websites, resulting in a 14% improvement in impressions and a 30% increase in clicks for the children’s site. She is currently driving the health system’s digital patient experience strategy, enhancing self-scheduling, AI-based search functionality, and provider ratings and reviews. Recent organizational accolades include UVA Health Children’s being named the No. 1 Children’s Hospital in Virginia for five consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report, and UVA Health being recognized among Newsweek‘s “World’s Best Hospitals” for 2025.
Tim Bentley. Assistant Vice President of Communications and Marketing at TMC Health (Tucson, Ariz.). Mr. Bentley serves as assistant vice president of system communications and marketing for TMC Health, where he oversees all systemwide marketing, communications, brand management and engagement efforts across a network that includes multiple hospitals, the region’s largest primary care system and a broad range of specialty services. Over his 11-year career at TMC Health, he has directed the upgrade of the system’s digital front door, which now receives more than 2 million visits annually, and has guided the development of integrated communication systems, brand governance and crisis communications frameworks for cross-department coordination. Mr. Bentley began his TMC career managing “The Core,” the system’s community-focused wellness center, where he built one of the region’s first retail-based health outreach programs before advancing through a series of progressively senior marketing roles. His work has earned multiple local and regional advertising and public relations awards recognizing excellence in design, storytelling and digital marketing performance. Mr. Bentley brings more than 30 years of experience in storytelling, marketing and leadership to TMC Health.
Cara Bergendahl. System Vice President and Chief Marketing and Consumer Insights Officer at Ochsner Health (New Orleans). Ms. Bergendahl serves as system vice president and chief marketing and consumer insights officer at Ochsner Health, Louisiana’s largest nonprofit academic health system. There, she leads strategic brand growth, demand generation, digital marketing, corporate sponsorships and voice of customer initiatives. Over her eight years at Ochsner, she has grown the health system’s website to more than 8 million users, expanded social media channels from 6 to more than 50, and more than doubled marketing-driven patient acquisition, with paid search and digital campaign traffic growing nearly 300% and marketing-driven revenue increasing 170% in three years through customer relationship management expansion. Ms. Bergendahl oversaw the refresh and relaunch of the Ochsner parent brand, culminating in the 2022 “Long Live You” campaign, which emphasized community partnerships and brand activations with the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans. She has also led branding and marketing for 21 partnerships over five years and expanded physician marketing through advanced data modeling and Salesforce technology, resulting in 162% growth in patient acquisition leads. For 14 consecutive years, Ochsner has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the No. 1 hospital in Louisiana, and Ochsner Children’s has been named the No. 1 hospital for kids in Louisiana for five consecutive years. Prior to Ochsner, Ms. Bergendahl held senior marketing leadership roles at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.
Glenn Bieler. Chief Brand and Marketing Officer at UW Medicine (Seattle). Mr. Bieler serves as chief marketing officer for UW Medicine, where he oversees unified brand strategy, enterprisewide marketing and service-line patient growth strategies, digital marketing and consumer experience, content marketing, and marketing for strategic partnerships and co-branded initiatives. Over his nine years at the integrated academic health system, he has led a comprehensive transformation of the marketing and communications function, spearheading its first systemwide rebranding initiative, clearly defining UW Medicine as the University of Washington’s health system and introducing the tagline “A Higher Degree of Healthcare.” He led the launch of the organization’s first employer brand campaign, which significantly increased job applications and helped attract mission-aligned talent. Mr. Bieler redirected consumer engagement efforts toward content-driven approaches, including the creation of “Right as Rain,” UW Medicine’s first digital publication offering accessible expert health guidance to consumers. His tenure included the first major redesign of the system’s website, resulting in improved search functionality, enhanced user experience, and stronger search engine optimization performance, and modernization of the department’s technology stack to enhance marketing performance and operational efficiency. Mr. Bieler also serves as associate vice president for medical affairs at the University of Washington. Prior to UW Medicine, he held senior communications and marketing roles at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University, Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic.
Mark Bohen. Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Mass General Brigham (Boston). Mr. Bohen is responsible for building and leading all marketing and communications initiatives in support of the 16-member health system’s clinical care, research, community and educational mission. Mass General Brigham features more than $22.8 billion in revenue, more than 80,000 employees, academic medical centers, specialty and community hospitals, a health plan, a healthcare professional school, and an innovations and ventures business. Its biomedical research organization has more than $3 billion of academic and research revenue and five Harvard Medical School teaching hospitals. Upon joining Mass General Brigham in 2020, Mr. Bohen led the enterprise transformation of disparate marketing and communications functions into a single, unified structure by integrating more than 10 individual departments across the system’s many entities. Under his leadership, Mass General Brigham has launched an initiative focusing on the use of AI in consumer behavior, including the impact of AI search as well as its application in marketing and communications to increase productivity and enhance results. Mr. Bohen’s career has included marketing leadership roles at Southfield, Mich.-based Beaumont Health, Assurant and consumer-packaged goods companies.
Stacey Brandt. Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Market President at Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital. Ms. Brandt serves as executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Tampa General Hospital, one of the largest university-affiliated academic health systems in America. She leads strategic planning, service lines and institutes, marketing and communications. She also serves as market president for TGH North. She is the architect of Tampa General’s five-year strategic plan, which is focused on clinical and operational excellence, talent management, physician alignment, market growth, care coordination, and research and academic mission, and she has spearheaded the creation and development of more than 20 service lines and institutes, helping grow the health system’s market share from 19% to 24% over five years. Ms. Brandt also oversaw the restructuring of marketing, communications and physician business development, leading strategic omnichannel campaigns with a marketing budget of more than $20 million and driving a year-over-year increase in brand impressions of more than 60%. She also serves as a contributor for media outlets and often speaks at national industry events.
Laurel Burgos. Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Woman’s Hospital (Baton Rouge, La.). Ms. Burgos serves as vice president of marketing and communications for Woman’s Hospital, where she leads strategic initiatives to enhance the hospital’s visibility, strengthen brand reputation, and promote women’s and infant health services throughout the community. With 14 years of dedicated service, she has overseen key milestones, including marketing efforts for the launch of Louisiana’s first perinatal mental health unit in 2024 and the hospital’s move to a new campus in 2012. Ms. Burgos also pioneered the development of the hospital’s first pregnancy app in 2014. Her marketing and event strategies have played a vital role in expanding cancer care outreach and increasing treatment volumes. She manages a broad scope of responsibilities, ranging from advertising and social media to public relations and community engagement. She is also active in several professional and community organizations, including the Capital Region YMCA board and the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development.
Kendra Calhoun. Chief Marketing Officer at Avera Health (Sioux Falls, S.D.). Ms. Calhoun has advanced brand, growth marketing, digital experience, communications and public relations at Avera since 2013. At Avera, she also oversees digital patient engagement, market insights, community partnerships and internal communications. Additionally, her scope of work includes marketing and workforce recruitment for Avera’s hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, long-term care facilities and home care operation. She is also responsible for patient education, physician communications, governance communications and community partnerships. She is currently working on an enterprise strategy to reinvigorate the system’s brand and increase recruitment and retention. Ms. Calhoun is also a member of Avera’s growth team, which advances partnership growth across the system’s footprint and in contiguous regions. Ms. Calhoun leads a large, centralized team that has been recognized with several awards, including an international “Stevie award” for Avera’s suicide prevention campaign, “Ask the Question.”
H. Wayne Capps, Jr. Director of Stakeholder Relations, Public Affairs and Congressional Relations at Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System (Charleston, S.C.). Mr. Capps leads a team of public affairs, visual information and event planning specialists. He manages all of the system’s public relations, congressional interactions and marketing efforts, and is responsible for all marketing and branding campaigns from start to finish. He also manages two government marketing contracts for billboards, radio and advertising. He provides strategic vision for both internal and external communication efforts to align with strategic goals and communication goals. He has crafted an all-encompassing approach for managing public relations, congressional interactions and marketing initiatives. His strategic communications expertise lead the system to unprecedented growth across its social media channels. Under his leadership, the system has thrived in its media interactions, community engagement events and Congressional interactions.
Kim Carr. Vice President of Consumer Marketing at AdventHealth Central Florida Division (Orlando). Mrs. Carr leads volume-driving strategies and brand preference for AdventHealth’s Central and East Florida divisions, which includes more than 25 hospitals and off-site emergency departments, including specialty women’s and children’s hospitals, multiple specialized institutes, ambulatory care locations and the quaternary center in Orlando. Mrs. Carr has 30 years of marketing experience and has held multiple positions within AdventHealth, with a successful track record of leading turnaround projects and lasting change. She was instrumental in the successful rebrand from Florida Hospital to AdventHealth six years ago, leading to immediate brand recognition and positioning AdventHealth as a trusted leader in the Central Florida market. Mrs. Carr oversees mass media and omni-channel marketing and is focused on utilizing consumer insights and data analytics and maximizing physician strategic alignment to optimize performance and improve return on marketing investment. Under her direction, AdventHealth launched a new orthopedic partnership yielding a 50% increase in surgical volumes in its first year, and has led emergency room marketing campaigns generating increased volumes in a highly competitive environment. She has also implemented targeted Hispanic marketing strategies to reach the growing demographic in the Central Florida market and launched physician thought leadership strategies that have increased followers by 40% year over year. She serves on the corporate brand leadership governing board and partners across Florida and multi-state divisions to align the national brand strategy.
Jessica Castle. Chief Marketing Officer of Phoebe Putney Health System (Albany, Ga.). Ms. Castle joined Phoebe Putney Health System in 2014, first as vice president of marketing, public relations and business development. In her current role of chief marketing officer, she and her team elevate patient experience systemwide by implementing new programs that promote positive patient experiences throughout the care continuum. She brings over two decades of experience in healthcare to her role, leveraging a deep understanding of patient experience and brand storytelling. Prior to joining Phoebe Putney, she worked as the senior director of marketing for Atlanta-based Piedmont Healthcare.
Lindsay Caulfield. Chief Marketing Officer of Grady Health (Atlanta). Ms. Caulfield came to Grady Health in 2012. She previously worked at public relations agency Cohn & Wolfe, serving as executive vice president. In her career, she has built and led integrated marketing communications programs, public relations initiatives and strategic planning for Fortune 500 companies.
Andrew Chang. Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for University of Chicago Medicine. Since joining UChicago Medicine as vice president and chief marketing officer in August 2023, Mr. Chang has led a data-driven, patient-centric marketing strategy focused on accessibility, growth and digital transformation. He has optimized the health system’s marketing structure to promote efficiency while enhancing the visibility of its clinical and research programs, including Illinois’ top-ranked cancer center. Under his leadership, the organization expanded its global brand presence through a groundbreaking 2024 sponsorship with the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, the first known healthcare-provider partnership in Formula 1, complementing an existing partnership with the WNBA’s Chicago Sky. Mr. Chang also supports the strategic growth of the system’s joint venture with Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth and champions consumer experience-enhancing digital initiatives such as improved online scheduling.
Jacqueline Clancy. Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer at Emerson Health (Concord, Mass.). Ms. Clancy serves as vice president of marketing and communications at Emerson Health, where she leads strategy and execution of all brand, marketing, public relations, digital and community engagement initiatives. She oversees a multidisciplinary team responsible for internal and external communications, digital strategy and community relations. She has re-positioned Emerson’s brand under the theme “excellence personalized” and directed the launch of a redesigned website, centralized digital analytics, and expanded social and search campaigns that have significantly increased patient acquisition and engagement. Ms. Clancy also played a pivotal role in the “Transforming Health” philanthropic campaign, leveraging storytelling and communications strategy to support a record donor participation effort aligned with campus expansion projects including a new emergency department. She has led initiatives to modernize internal communications, improve transparency and foster organizational connection, and serves as a valued strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership team. Looking ahead, Ms. Clancy is actively embracing AI and digital transformation, mentoring the next generation of healthcare communicators, and most recently participated as a guest panelist at the Massachusetts Health and Hospital Association’s Communications Summit.
Matthew Clark. Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications at University of Maryland Medical System (Baltimore). Mr. Clark serves as senior vice president of marketing and communications at the University of Maryland Medical System, where he oversees internal communications, media relations, crisis communications, physician relations, web strategies, and marketing and creative teams. Since joining the system’s executive team in June 2020, he has worked closely with the C-suite to advance strategic planning, business development, change management, external affairs and community engagement for the $5 billion health system. At the highest level, Mr. Clark is charged with enhancing and promoting the system brand within Maryland and the region, while helping patients understand how pioneering research can translate into improved outcomes. He also partners with foundational stakeholders at the University of Maryland School of Medicine to strengthen those connections. Thanks in large part to his contributions, the system was named one of Monigle’s “30 Most Trusted Healthcare Brands” in 2023 and earned “Best in Show,” gold, silver and bronze recognitions at the 40th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards. Mr. Clark also serves as a board member of the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center and the Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients, Inc.
Tracy Clouser. Vice President of Communications, Marketing, Planning and Community Health at Carilion Clinic (Roanoke, Va.). Ms. Clouser serves as vice president of communications, marketing, planning and community health at Carilion Clinic, leading more than 80 professionals across the organization. Since joining two and a half years ago, she has led internal and external research initiatives that have improved the organization’s website, brand messaging, social media, sports partnerships and internal communications strategies, resulting in measurable increases in website sessions, appointment clicks, Google ad conversions, social media engagement and internal communications open rates. Ms. Clouser led the rollout of several Epic “MyChart” tools in fiscal year 2025, which improved patient appointment access by an average of 38 days. She also supported the launch of a new 507,000-square-foot tower housing a state-of-the-art cardiovascular institute at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Her team’s support of the Carilion Clinic Foundation helped the organization surpass a $100 million fundraising goal for a new cancer center, a historic milestone. Recent communications recognitions include a Public Relations Society of America Blue Ridge Chapter “Gold Award” in 2025 and a “Silver ADDY” from the Advertising Awards of Western Virginia for the Community Health Impact Report.
Anthony Condia. Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at West Virginia University Health System (Morgantown). Mr. Condia serves as chief marketing and communications officer of the West Virginia University Health System, a 25-hospital, $7 billion net patient revenue health system. He leads marketing, public relations, internal communications and brand stewardship, reporting directly to the CEO. Over the past decade, he spearheaded the development and launch of the WVU Medicine brand in 2015, unifying the health system’s identity across all entities and integrating 20 hospitals into the brand as they joined the system. He simultaneously led the branding strategy for Peak Health, WVU Medicine’s insurance company, and successfully introduced the new 150-bed WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital as the region’s leading pediatric provider. Mr. Condia has provided executive communications guidance to the CEO and senior leadership through the health system’s rapid growth and has managed high-stakes crisis communications, securing major national and international media coverage that has elevated WVU Medicine’s reputation globally. WVU Health System is consistently recognized by U.S. News & World Report for nationally ranked programs and holds Magnet recognition at its flagship academic medical center for the fourth time. Prior to WVU Medicine, Mr. Condia served as chief marketing officer at UC Health and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he also established and launched the branding for the system.
Mari Considine. Chief Brand and Marketing Officer at Acenda Integrated Health (Glassboro, N.J.). Ms. Considine serves as chief brand and marketing officer at Acenda Integrated Health, where she leads the brand, marketing and engagement division, uniting strategic marketing, internal communications, digital engagement, thought leadership and reputation management under one integrated vision. She led a comprehensive rebrand and the unified division, replacing a reactive request model with a performance-driven structure. She also launched “Acenda Perspectives,” a thought leadership platform positioning clinicians, executives and staff as credible voices in behavioral health. Ms. Considine’s “educate, engage, repeat” internal communications framework has become an enterprise standard, with Acenda’s intranet platform achieving 93% staff adoption and contributing to multiple “top workplace” awards tied to culture and communication. Her work has contributed to Acenda receiving more than a dozen national marketing and communications awards in the past two years, including a 2024 “eHealthcare Leadership Award,” 2025 Mid-Atlantic Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development board of directors “Healthcare Marketing Excellence” recognition, and honors from the Aster Awards and PRSA Philadelphia Pepperpot Awards. Beyond Acenda, Ms. Considine serves as an adjunct professor of marketing, finance, leadership and project management at St. Francis College, where she teaches graduate-level courses and mentors emerging healthcare leaders. She is also an active contributor to Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, as well as a frequent national speaker and workshop leader at major healthcare marketing and communications conferences.
Donnalee Corrieri. Chief Communications and Marketing Officer at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center (Paramus, N.J.). Ms. Corrieri serves as chief communications and marketing officer at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, the state’s largest hospital, where she leads internal communications, public and media relations, marketing, advertising, event development and coordination, social media, website management, crisis communications, community health and the Bergen New Bridge Foundation. With more than 30 years of experience in the advertising, public relations and marketing field, she has been a key architect of the medical center’s image rehabilitation and brand transformation, charting the course for rebranding a newly reborn medical center that had previously faced significant challenges. Ms. Corrieri has also played a central role in developing the community health needs assessment and its implementation plan, serves as a leader on the medical center’s DEI committee, and is known as a mentor to junior team members. Recent organizational recognitions include designation as a Leapfrog top hospital and top teaching hospital, as well as health care equity certification from The Joint Commission. Ms. Corrieri serves on the boards of the North Jersey Friendship House, the YWCA of Northern New Jersey and the Bergen County Workforce Development board.
Blake Daly-Long. Vice President of Brand Marketing and Communications at Allina Health (Minneapolis). Mr. Daly-Long serves as vice president of brand marketing and communications at Allina Health, where his empathetic, relationship-driven leadership has earned the marketing and communications team recognition for award-winning videos, communications, marketing and advertising. He has established a sophisticated newsroom producing patient, care team and employee stories shared across news media, social media, donor engagement and internal newsletters, reducing the organization’s dependence on earned media to tell its story. Mr. Daly-Long also oversees the “Healthy, Set, Go” e-newsletter, which achieves an average open rate of 49.3%, and directly generated at least 1,200 patient appointments in 2024. He spearheaded Allina Health’s official health care provider partnership with Minnesota United Football Club, including sponsorship of its academy’s “Change to Chill” mental health program, making it one of the few MLS academies with readily available mental health resources for players and staff. Allina Health is also the official health system partner and front-of-jersey sponsor for Minnesota Aurora, the largest community-owned women’s soccer team in the country. Mr. Daly-Long was named as one of the Twin Cities Business‘ “Notable Marketing Leaders” for 2025, and his team won an Upper Midwest “Regional Emmy Award” for the “My Allina Health Story” video series.
Brian Deffaa. Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for RWJBarnabas Health (West Orange, N.J.). Mr. Deffaa is RWJBarnabas Health’s chief marketing officer, a role he assumed in spring of 2025. He brings a background in consumer marketing with brands like Target and Ford, as well as experience as Baltimore-based LifeBridge Health’s inaugural chief marketing officer. There, he shifted the system’s approach from episodic outbound messaging to a holistic, patient-centric model focused on accessibility and engagement. Under his leadership, LifeBridge launched a new mobile app, a redesigned website and an advanced customer relationship management system, significantly reducing friction in accessing care. He also has experience spearheading employee retention, recruitment and engagement efforts and championing innovative community health initiatives.
Jenny Doren. Vice President for Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs at UT Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas). Over nearly a decade in leadership roles at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Ms. Doren has integrated strategies supporting clinical growth, elevating research visibility, and strengthening learner and employee engagement. She led the launch of UT Southwestern’s first national advertising campaign, “Follow Your Spark,” increasing new website users by 53% year-over-year and driving double-digit growth in applications to graduate and biomedical engineering programs. She has enhanced institutional culture and connection by moderating more than 80 campus briefings and town halls hosted by the medical center president for nearly 26,000 employees. Kristina Dover. Chief Marketing Officer for Mercy (Chesterfield. Mo.). She is responsible for a multimillion-dollar budget with a 27-to-1 return on marketing investment. Stephanie Ebken. Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Cincinnati Children’s. Ms. Ebken serves as senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer at Cincinnati Children’s, where she is responsible for the advancement and protection of one of the nation’s premier children’s hospital brands, a role she has shaped over more than two decades with the organization. Jeremy Floyd. Chief Communications Officer, Senior Vice President of Consumer Innovation and Growth, and Vice President of Marketing at Covenant Health (Knoxville, Tenn.). Mr. Floyd oversees marketing, public relations, the call center, the fitness center and emergency medical services at Covenant Health. Jennifer Gilkie. Chief Communications and Marketing Officer of Dartmouth Health (Lebanon, N.H.). Lauren Green-Caldwell. Vice President of Communications and Chief Communications and Marketing Officer at National Jewish Health (Denver). With over 30 years of healthcare communications and marketing leadership, Ms. Green-Caldwell leads a team responsible for brand strategy, marketing, public affairs, government relations, internal communications, web and physician outreach at National Jewish Health. First opened in 1899, the hospital is recognized for care and research of respiratory-related and multispecialty illnesses, with its researchers credited with major discoveries like IgE, the molecule responsible for allergic reactions. Jamie Leszczynski. Senior Vice President of Communications and Chief Brand Officer at Oswego (N.Y.) Health. Goldie Taylor. Senior Vice President and Chief Communications and Marketing Officer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Boston). Ms. Taylor leads Dana-Farber’s enterprise communications and marketing portfolio, overseeing brand, advertising, digital engagement, content strategy and reputation management for one of the world’s leading cancer centers. She has been integral to shaping the public understanding of Dana-Farber’s new 300-bed adult inpatient cancer hospital, which is now being developed in Boston’s Longwood Medical Area. Ms. Taylor has strengthened the institute’s brand architecture and guided a unified marketing strategy that connects research, care, network growth and institutional priorities. Under her leadership, Dana-Farber advanced “What We Do Here Changes Lives Everywhere,” the institute’s most ambitious advertising and brand-building campaign to date. The effort has expanded national awareness, elevated the patient and caregiver voice, and translated scientific excellence into a compelling, accessible narrative. She has modernized the digital ecosystem to improve user experience and patient navigation; expanded social media governance, analytics and channel strategy; and deepened coordination with clinical operations, philanthropy and research leadership. Melissa Tourtellotte. Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Philanthropy at Centralus Health (Ithaca, N.Y.). Ms. Tourtellotte serves as vice president of marketing, communications and philanthropy at Centralus Health, the recently affiliated health system formed by the combination of Cayuga Health and Arnot Health. There, she shapes and advances the brand, public image and philanthropic impact of the billion-dollar community-anchored health system. She spearheaded a comprehensive rebranding initiative grounded in primary and secondary stakeholder research, forging a brand identity aligned with the system’s core values of people first, integrity, compassion and excellence, and integrated marketing, communications and philanthropy into a unified, performance-driven operating model. Under her leadership, the “Transforming Care” campaign surpassed its original $5 million goal, raising over $5.75 million since 2022, and she has advanced equity-centered storytelling to elevate initiatives such as the Center for Health Equity Transformation and its health equity dashboard. Ms. Tourtellotte’s scope continues to expand as the Centralus Health system grows, with recent work including the rebranding of Schuyler emergency medical services as “Centralus Health EMS” in May 2025. The health system has earned recognition including the inaugural “Circle of Excellence Health Equity Award” from Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and “Business of the Year” designation from Tompkins County Chamber. Prior to Centralus Health, Ms. Tourtellotte held senior marketing and director-level roles at Sayre, Pa.-based Guthrie and Cooperstown, N.Y.-based Bassett Health Network.
Chuck Wallington, Ph.D. Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Cone Health (Greensboro, N.C.). Dr. Wallington serves as executive vice president and chief marketing and communications officer for Cone Health, a $3 billion healthcare system with more than 15,000 employees. He reports directly to the CEO as one of 10 members of the most senior executive leadership team. When he joined Cone Health in 2011, he set about transforming the marketing and communications function from order-takers to strategic thought partners, a shift that now sees his team recognized as integral advisors to business leaders across the organization. Dr. Wallington played a pivotal role in helping Cone Health develop and announce a $150 million commitment to a health equity strategy in 2024, and his unique perspective as a Black man has shaped the system’s outreach to underserved populations, including leading vaccine hesitancy campaigns that resulted in the highest minority vaccination rates in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. A nationally recognized champion for diversity in public relations, his master’s thesis on Black men in the PR profession was named one of the “Top 15 Public Relations Research Insights of 2020,” and his Ph.D. dissertation has been published as “A Seat at the C-Suite Table: Insights from the Leadership Journeys of African American Executives.” In 2025, Dr. Wallington was named an “Industry Legend” by the Diversity Action Alliance, its highest honor, and received the 2024 “Betsy Plank Award” for lifetime commitment to mentoring. He also serves as a PRSA director-at-large and is a board member of the Institute for Public Relations and the Diversity Action Alliance.
Tim Whitehead. Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Mr. Whitehead is responsible for all external and internal communications and marketing for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Wielding an eye for compelling storytelling, he and his team convey the health system’s mission effectively. He has created a brand and content strategy that aligns marketing, advertising, PR, internal, digital and social media. He also integrated operations, finance and marketing for better return on investment, and developed a ground-up internal communications strategy that increased engagement. He and the team also supported fundraising efforts to activate the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Arthur M. Blank Hospital and exceeded targets.
Jennifer Wills. Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Baystate Health (Springfield, Mass.). Ms. Wills serves as vice president and chief marketing and communications officer at Baystate Health, where she leads the systemwide strategy, vision and execution of all marketing, communications and brand initiatives across the health system. With more than 22 years of experience in healthcare marketing and communications, she oversees internal and external communications, brand management, media relations, crisis and issues management, digital and social media, and executive and organizational communications. Ms. Wills previously led communications for 25 hospitals and 240 clinics across Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health’s Mountain Region, guiding the region through complex operational shifts and heightened public scrutiny. At Baystate Health, her leadership is elevating the voice, visibility, and strategic impact of marketing and communications, positioning the organization for stronger alignment and a more unified brand presence. Recent organizational recognitions include Baystate Medical Center being ranked No. 6 in Massachusetts and No. 1 in the Springfield Metro Area by U.S. News & World Report in 2025-26, with 16 specialties rated as “high performing.” Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer, Mass. was also recognized as the No. 1 “Most Socially Responsible Hospital in Massachusetts” by the Lown Institute in 2025.
Karen Wish. Chief Marketing Officer and Strategic Communications Lead at Mount Sinai Health System (New York City). Ms. Wish oversees enterprise brand, marketing and communications strategy for one of the nation’s leading academic health systems. She leads a team of 35 professionals, driving systemwide alignment, growth and reputation through data-informed, performance-driven strategies. Her leadership includes integration of hospital-based teams into a unified, center-led model to improve efficiency, consistency and impact. This includes Mount Sinai’s launch of high-performing, service line-focused campaigns that consistently deliver significant revenue growth and a four-times return on marketing investment. She also led the development of the brand platform, strengthening market differentiation and internal alignment across senior leadership teams. In addition to marketing leadership, Ms. Wish oversees strategic communications, including executive communications and large-scale organizational change initiatives. She is building a strategic communications capability to enhance transparency, engagement and cultural cohesion across the system. Prior to Mount Sinai, she served as chief marketing and development officer at Lighthouse Guild, leading a successful turnaround of its brand and fundraising strategy. She spent more than a decade at New York City-based NewYork-Presbyterian, where she helped elevate its national reputation and led marketing efforts that supported top U.S. News & World Report rankings. She now serves as adjunct faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and is an active contributor to national healthcare marketing and communications strategy forums.
Christine Woolsey. Chief Communications and Marketing Officer at Michigan Medicine (Ann Arbor). Ms. Woolsey serves as chief communications and marketing officer at Michigan Medicine, the academic medical center of the University of Michigan, where she supports institutional strategic goals and priorities spanning clinical and research efforts, the U-M Medical School, and the regional health network. She joined the organization in September 2025 after serving as senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer for Hospital Sisters Health System in Springfield, Ill. Prior to that, she spent more than a decade leading system marketing, communications and digital experience for Colorado-based SCL Health, which is now Intermountain Health, where she built the system’s first shared service marketing and communications function and developed a unified branding and marketing strategy. At Michigan Medicine, she is working to advance the academic medical center’s clinical care, research and education missions.
