Ascension acquired Presence Health in March and made it part of Amita Health, a joint venture of Ascension’s Alexian Brothers Health System in Arlington Heights, Ill., and Adventist Midwest Health in Hinsdale, Ill.

The 10 hospitals dropped Presence from their names and replaced it with Amita Health. The name change will be rolled out at all former Presence facilities, according to the Chicago Tribune.
