Here are 10 apps for busy hospital CEOs to make traveling more efficient and work more effective while on the road.

TripIt creates an itinerary for flights, schedules, hotel bookings and meeting information and organizes it in your calendar. You can forward confirmation emails and the app sorts it out.

Evernote is designed for users to take notes, and it stores the information in the cloud for recall any time.

Concur is a travel/expense manager app that can sync with your office for approvals and has easily exportable expense reports.

Award Wallet keeps track of loyalty points, including frequent flyer miles, hotel points and credit card points.

mPassport has a searchable database that lists more than 6,700 physicians and 1,500 vetted clinics around the world that can help travelers if they are sick, injured or need to fill a prescription while traveling.

Dufl is a personalized wardrobe concierge. The company sends you a large suitcase to fill with clothes for work that is stored in a warehouse. When you're ready to travel, select the clothes you want with your app and the company cleans, presses and delivers them right to your hotel room. You can leave the clothes at the hotel when you're finished and the company will pick them up for the next time.

Asana allows users to communicate with their team back home to organize projects and track progress, leave comments and create to-do lists, reminders and requests.

GateGuru provides airport maps and real-time information about flights, such as gate changes, to make sure you aren't late.

MobileDay organizes conference calls, booking them on your calendar and then automatically entering the right phone number, IDs and passcodes for attending the conference call.

Hotel Tonight is designed to help users find last-minute hotel rooms at steep discounts, sometimes more than 80 percent off. The app lists available hotels and gives the exact distance from the user's current location.
