Via Christi Opens New Women's Health Center

Pittsburg, Kan.-based Via Christi Hospital has opened its new women's health center, according to a report from the Morning Sun.

Work on the center began in June, as patient care wings and offices on the 3rd floor of the hospital were converted to labor and delivery rooms, triage diagnosis rooms, postpartum rooms, Cesarean section rooms and a nursery.

The new women's center is an upgrade from the old unit, which opened in 1971, according to the report.
