The addition is 40 rooms, half of which are devoted to patients with cardiac needs. The other 20 beds comprise a general-purpose medical-surgical unit.
The 60,000-square-foot, $30 million pavilion is designed to maximize sustainable energy, water and raw material usage. It will open to patients in August, after which St. Anne’s will convert all rooms in its existing facility to private rooms.
