Lourdes Health System Launches Palliative Medicine Program

Lourdes Health System in Camden, N.J., has announced the launch of a palliative medicine consultation service.

Alexander J. Hatala, president and CEO of the system, said the health system is “pleased to be creating this service that will undoubtedly fill an important need for our patients.”

Marlton, N.J.-based Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice’s Palliative Medical Partners has been named Lourdes Health System’s preferred provider for patients needing palliative care.
