Kent Hospital Announces Heart Disease Treatment Program

Warwick, R.I.-based Kent Hospital has announced the inception of a new advanced heart failure program with Boston’s Center for Advanced Heart Disease at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, according to a report from GoLocalProv.

The new program will offer individualized care to advanced heart failure patients through comprehensive evaluations, multidisciplinary care, evidence-based medicine, dietary and lifestyle education, clinical trials for heart failure and access to advanced heart therapies, according to the report.

An expansion to Kent’s cardiology program was first announced after an agreement was forged with Brigham and Women’s this past January.
