Christopher Goode, MD, has been appointed executive vice president and chief clinical integration officer at Morgantown, W.Va.-based WVU Medicine.
In the role, Dr. Goode will lead systemwide initiatives to enhance services, expand access to care and strengthen care coordination, according to a May 2 news release from the health system.
He will also be responsible for designing clinical integration efforts in alignment with WVU Medicine’s 2035 strategic plan, building clinical care coordination programs and developing ambulatory access infrastructure.
Dr. Goode, a board-certified emergency medicine physician, has served as chair of emergency medicine at WVU Medicine since 2019.
