Pittsburgh-based West Penn Allegheny Health System has named John Paul as CEO, according to a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette report.
Mr. Paul replaces interim CEO Keith Ghezzi, who has served as interim CEO since 2011, according to the report. The appointment follows the Pennsylvania Insurance Department’s approval of the affiliation between West Penn and insurer Highmark.
