Vibra Hospital of Sacramento gets new CEO: 4 things to know

Vibra Hospital of Sacramento, a 58-bed specialty hospital in Folsom, Calif., has named Kimberly Horton, RN, NP, MSN, DHA, CEO.

Here are four things to know about Dr. Horton.

1. She began her CEO role Sept. 21.

2. Prior to Vibra Hospital of Sacramento, Dr. Horton was COO of Kaiser Permanente Vallejo (Calif.) Medical Center.

3. Her previous executive roles also include:

  • Senior vice president and CNO of Oakland, Calif.-based Alameda Health System
  • Vice president for nursing for Mercy Hospitals of Bakersfield (Calif.), part of San Francisco-based Dignity Health
  • Vice president for clinical service for Bakersfield (Calif.) Heart Hospital

4. She has a doctorate in healthcare administration and a master’s degree in nursing.
