Vanguard Health Names Edward M. Carne SVP of Ambulatory Care Services for Chicago Market

Vanguard Health Systems, based in Nashville, Tenn., has named Edward M. Carne senior vice president of ambulatory care services for the Chicago market.

Mr. Carne was previously vice president of operations for the Banner Medical Group in the Arizona West Valley. In this role, he was responsible for the management of more than 250 physicians. Prior to that appointment, Mr. Carne served as the CEO for DuPage (Ill.) Medical Group from 1998-2010.
