Vanderbilt hospital president to retire

Mary Pawlikowski, president of Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital and Vanderbilt Behavioral Health in Nashville, Tenn., will retire at the end of the fiscal year.

A search is beginning for a new executive director at VPH, according to a March 14 news release.

Ms. Pawlikowski joined Vanderbilt University Medical Center nine years ago as vice president of operations for Vanderbilt Behavioral Health, according to the release. She then became COO of VPH in 2017, the hospital’s interim president in 2020, and the hospital’s permanent president in 2021.

VPH is part of Vanderbilt Behavioral Health.
