James Eastham, president and CEO of Valley Baptist Health, has been promoted to vice president of Vanguard Health Systems, a hospital operator based in Nashville. Vanguard entered into a joint venture with Valley Baptist Health last year.
Manny Vela has been appointed to succeed Mr. Eastham. Mr. Vela currently serves as senior vice president and chief legal officer for Valley Baptist Health. Both executive appointments are effective in March.
