Madison, Wis.-based UW Health has named Dave Schneider, MD, associate chief medical information officer, effective March 1.
In this role, Dr. Schneider will provide informatics leadership across the enterprise, according to a March 9 LinkedIn post from Joel Gordon, MD, chief medical information officer at the health system. He will also focus on the procedural and specialty service lines, working in close partnership with clinical, operational and informatics leaders across UW Health.
Dr. Schneider previously served as associate program director of the clinical informatics fellowship at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, according to his LinkedIn.
