Natalie Fox, DNP, has been appointed CEO of Mobile, Ala.-based USA Health.
Dr. Fox has served as interim CEO for four months following the retirement of Owen Bailey, according to an Oct. 22 health system news release shared with Becker’s.
She joined USA Health in 2011 and held various clinical and operational leadership roles across the system, including manager of clinical operations for its pediatric division and chief physician enterprise officer, a role she began in 2023.
As chief physician enterprise officer, Ms. Fox oversaw performance and strategic direction for USA Health’s physician enterprise, which includes more than 700 physicians, advanced practice providers, residents and fellows.
USA Health is the health system for the University of South Alabama. It includes University Hospital, Children’s & Women’s Hospital, Providence Hospital and the Mitchell Cancer Institute, as well as more than 40 care locations across the region.
