University of Chicago Medicine selects Dr. Titus Daniels as CMO of the community health and hospital division

University of Chicago Medicine appointed Titus Daniels, MD, chief medical officer of its community health and hospital division.

Five points:

1. Dr. Daniels most recently served as the inaugural chief ambulatory medical officer for University of Chicago Medicine.

2. He joined the organization in March 2017.

3. In his new role, Dr. Daniels will support Ingalls Memorial’s integration into UChicago Medicine, alongside Ingalls Memorial CMO Perry Gilbert, MD.

4. Kenneth Nunes, MD, will succeed Dr. Daniels as chief ambulatory medical officer.

5. Dr. Nunes was previously section chief of general obstetrics and gynecology at University of Chicago Medicine and CMO for obstetrics and gynecology at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Ill.
