Robin Sodano is retiring as senior vice president of information services and CIO of Worcester, Mass.-based UMass Memorial Health, with her final day set for Sept. 1, 2026.
Kendall White has been named the system’s new senior vice president of information services.
Ms. Sodano has been CIO of UMass Memorial Health, the largest health system in Central Massachusetts, since 2017, but has been with the organization since 1999. During her tenure, she oversaw the expansion of the system’s Epic EHR to Milford (Mass.) Regional Medical Center in April and led the organization’s cybersecurity response during the wave of ransomware attacks that hit U.S. hospitals in 2020.
Mr. White most recently served as UMass Memorial Health’s vice president and chief technology officer.
The leadership change comes as UMass Memorial Health, the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School, continues expanding its Epic platform and digital health capabilities across its network of hospitals and clinics in Central Massachusetts.
