She will report to Brian Nichols, enterprise CIO of the University of Kentucky, and oversee UK HealthCare’s IT team, chief nursing information officer, digital health platforms, and Epic EHR.
“Dickens’ leadership will be instrumental in steering UK HealthCare through the evolving landscape of digital health, ensuring we not only meet but exceed our goals of enhancing patient care, operational efficiency and innovation,” the health system said April 4.
She most recently served as vice president of technology applications at Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Bronson Healthcare, where she worked for more than 20 years.
She starts in the role in early May.
